After two decades in the lumber industry, **Matt Meyers** knew there had to be a better way than phone calls and post-it notes. Matt came to PSL with a vision of how technology could come to the forest products industry to help everyone — lumber mills, service providers, and lumberyards — do business better. Together with PSL's engineering, design, and customer development teams, Matt iterated on concepts and launched Yesler, a B2B marketplace built by the lumber and building materials industry, for the industry. Matt worked with PSL to recruit CTO **Jeff Lubetkin**, who brings his decades of marketplace technology experience from Expedia and Zillow. Matt and Jeff are also joined by **David Helmers**, who previously led Weyerhaeuser's $1.5 billion building materials distribution business.
